What is Glasnock House?
Glasnock House is a historic house in Scotland that was built in the 17th century.
The house is notable for its association with the Glasnock family, who were prominent figures in the area. The Glasnocks were Jacobites, and many of them fought in the Jacobite rising of 1745. Several members of the family were killed or captured during the uprising, including Robert Glasnock, who was executed by hanging.
The house remained in the hands of the Glasnock family until 1849, when it was sold to John Inglis. Inglis made several alterations to the property, including adding a new porch and windows. The house passed through several other owners over the years and fell into disrepair.

In the early 21st century, the house was bought by a company that specializes in restoring historic properties. The company carried out a major restoration of the house, which was completed in 2010.
